Marathi Assembly

On 5th August, 2025, the children of classes 5 to 8 presented an assembly In which the children gave detailed and insightful information about Maharashtra’s cultural traditions through the medium of folk songs.

Folk Traditions Showcased
Abhang, Ovi, Powada, Lavni, Vasudev, Bhajan and Gawalan were the various forms of folk songs showcased in this assembly. Some of the children also anchored the event and presented the information through PowerPoint Presentation. Videos of Ovi, Powada and Vasudev were shown during this assembly.
Students of classes 5 and 6, taking part in the assembly, sang two Gavalans, and other students sang other forms of folk music.
A Universal Prayer
At the end of the assembly the audience was shown a video of Pasaydan by Sant Dhyaneshwar Maharaj – a lyrical piece that includes the prayers for the entire universe.
Along with the students, the AV team, Anuja Akka, Nikhil Sir and Bhagyashree Akka were the coordinators of this informational, elucidative and fun filled assembly.
