High Jump

Many of us participated in High Jump, though it was a relatively new sport for all of us. Shreya and Nanaki represented Grade 12 while Sharayu, Reya, and Kanishka represented Grade 11. From Grade 10 we had Nehal, Prisha, and Adviti while Purvi was the lone participant from Grade 9. The highlight of the event was Kanishka’s jaw-dropping jump as she set the bar at 1.25m for the girls. She has previously participated at the district-level and lived up to this year’s Sports Fest motto - Do not set the bar too low.

The underdogs Adviti and Nehal jumped over multiple heights despite participating for the first time. Equally commendable were all the other participants, who inspired the spectators and left the field stronger than before.
